While the rest of the world is still in it's infancy.... a mere 2,012 years old, the Chinese New Year is 4710. New Year this year falls on January 23, 2012. It is the year of the Dragon, a positive Yang year. Chinese New Year, also called the "Spring Festival", is the largest and most festive celebration of the year.
Chinese New Year celebrations last 15 days, and ends with the Kite Festival. New Year is the most festive holiday of the year. It is a time to be home with family and friends. It is a time to cook and enjoy food together.
