III FOREIGN LANGUAGES WEEK- 2011 -

FROM LITERATURE TO CINEMA
This year, our school celebrated the foreign languages week, holding a deeper view about classic literature masterpieces and their film versions. Not only we learnt much more about some very well-known British authors, but also their books, which are recommended to native students. Some of these representative books were Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dalh, Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle. Furthermore, we also worked on Around the world in 80 days by Jules Verne. Once we watched the films and read more details about the authors, students did different activities related to them, such as a gymkhana, trivia, comic or short stories competition…

We decorated our school with posters and students´short stories and comic contest.
We had to guess a hangman!!

Another day we enjoyed making some TRUFFLES and... It was a great experience!!

We also tested our knowledges in the QUIZ about some authors and their masterpieces.

Finally, at the end of that week we participated in a wonderful GYMKHANA competing against our classmates.
